BRAINSPOTTING
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma and emotional pain. Developed by Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting utilizes specific eye positions to access and resolve deeply rooted emotional distress. It is an advancement of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
How It Works:
During a Brainspotting session, you will be guided toward a focus on a particular point in your visual field, known as a “brainspot.” This spot is linked to specific memories or emotions. By maintaining focus on the brainspot, processing and releasing of trapped emotions occurs.
